Session: ITIL4 & DevOps - Way Forward For Dev & Ops
Every organization is going for Transformation. Transformation means Change. We need to change our Way of Working too to be able to deliver Faster, Better, Secure and have a Stable product. While there is change in the way the development is done, there needs to be change in the way Operations is being executed. We need to break silos and work together to co-create value. Thus DevOps and Operations needs to work together. Operations also need to adopt to new ways of working which is Agile, more automation, etc.
In this session I would like to discuss on the need for both operations and development to get cross-skilled and change their way of working. Explain why this is important and break the myth that DevOps is only for Developers and not for Operations. It will also talk about how Developers need to understand some operations aspect and how ITIL 4 helps in blending the two and co-create value.
