Session Name: Scaling DevOps to the Enterprise - How we are taking a strategic, innovative approach at Wiley
We at Wiley use a 5-phase strategy approach of scaling DevOps to the enterprise. From our experience, companies tend to take a fragmented approach, no clear strategy and try to and boil the ocean with their DevOps transformation. We find to better scale your transformation, it’s best to pick a program or if you’ve launched an Agile Release Train (ART), target coaches or change agents to this program or ART and follow the 5-phased approach. Some phases can be done in parallel, but scale one program or ART at a time, learn and adjust your plan as needed. I will present our DevOps transformation journey using this strategic approach below with examples in each phase and examples of where we have adjusted based on feedback loops.
